Tickets are $10 for students, $12 for senior citizens and UA faculty, and $15 for general admission. There will also be (free!) dress rehearsals that are open to the public.
Mackenzie says that the opera is "very funny, a great date night, and there are supertitles....for those not fluent in Italian. Now, don't let the opera-ness of this get you down. The show is hilarious, the costumes and scenery are awesome, and the singing's pretty OK too. For anyone intimidated by...dun, dun, dun...opera, please know that I totally understand, but this show is/would be a great first opera experience! Hope to see you all there!!"
She'd also love to get a discussion going on what the opera's about; "it's always better to know the storyline before going...that way you don't have to be quite so glued to the supertitles."
